Seward County Community College is a two-year institution offering 45 programs of study, including Adult Basic Education, certificate programs and associate of arts, an associate of science, general studies and applied sciences degrees. SCCC offers a variety of pre-professional programs including pre-dentistry, pre-engineering, pre-med, pre-pharmacy, pre-physical therapy, and pre-veterinary options. Students are able to choose between associate degree and transfer options, focusing on a broad knowledge base in the sciences, mathematics, and communications areas. The rigor and challenge of a pre-professional track are evident in the types of courses, course load, and time-management skills required of students in the program. Working closely with faculty and staff in the Math, Science and HPERD Division, along with the SCCC Transfer Coordinator, graduates of the SCCC pre-professional programs are prepared to pursue a variety of options for careers and continuing education....
