This program has been designed to provide students with a thorough understanding of health economics and policy development and implementation. There is no requirement for any prior training or knowledge in economics. Students are expected to learn advanced skills in critical analyses, understanding of global health policies, and micro-economic and macro-economic factors that influence health policies.

Epidemiology is a scientific discipline of high importance. Finding the distribution of disease, casualty assessment, source identification, control measures and the interplay of the preventive health measures with socio-political, ethical, and scientific factors forms the backbone of this unique science.
