Pharmacy consists of 5 years and aims to provide theoretical and practical knowledge to train graduates with a solid scientific basis, which is necessary for the practice of the profession of Pharmacists and for operating in the health field as experts in the drug and health products, in an international environment.

The Master’s Degree program in Medical and Pharmaceuticals Biotechnologies prepares highly skilled graduates in the biomedical and pharmaceutical biotechnology fields

The aim of the single-cycle degree course in CTF (PCT) is to provide students with an advanced level of multidisciplinary training for the pursuit of highly qualified activities in the field of pharmaceutical sciences. The multidisciplinary nature of the knowledge enables the graduate to enter various sectors of the pharmaceutical, nutraceutical-food, and cosmetic industry, as well as to work as a Pharmacist and Chemist, or to carry out professional activities in the pharmaceutical, pharmacological, and (bio)chemical fields. School teaching is not precluded. The training pathway aims to train a professional figure capable of operating in complex realities with adequate tools of critical knowledge, and analysis and with specific evaluation and implementation planning skills.

The Master's Degree in Pharmacy aims to provide a set of theoretical and practical knowledge in the biological, microbiological, physiological, biochemical and biomedical, chemical-pharmaceutical, pharmacological and toxicological, technological, legislative and ethical fields, which allow graduates to practice the profession of pharmacist and to operate in positions of responsibility as experts in drugs, diagnostics and health products. The Master's Degree in Pharmacy provides advanced scientific training in the health field aimed at training a professional figure of expert in drugs and their use for therapeutic purposes, who contributes to achieving the objectives defined by the National Health Service to adequately respond to the changing needs of society in the health field.

The international master degree in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology provides high levels of theoretical knowledge, technological and experimental expertise to design, conduct and manage research and development activities in biotechnologies applied to health, for the design, characterization, production, analysis, and formulation of innovative and biotechnological drugs, vaccines, diagnostic devices.

The course is aimed at training the professional figure of the Pharmacist, providing a solid scientific preparation regarding the composition, synthesis, properties and mechanism of action of drugs, preparation of the various pharmaceutical forms, therapeutic use of medicinal principles and risks related to excessive use or improper medication.

The master's degree program in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology (one curriculum out of 4 is fully taught in English) aims to prepare graduates who have advanced skills in the development and application of new scientific methodologies, who are able to actively participate in national and international study and research projects, and who possess in-depth skills in the scientific and technical-productive aspects of biotechnology applied to human health with particular reference to the design and engineering of innovative biotechnological drugs. The master's degree program in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology is structured into four curricula (three in italian and one in english).
