The Integrated Master's Degree in Medicine (MIM) at NOVA Medical School (NMS), is a 6-year program with a total of 360 ECTS, incorporating two complementary training cycles.

A holder of a doctor’s professional qualification possesses adequate knowledge of the sciences on which medicine is based and a good understanding of the scientific methods; sufficient understanding of the structure, functions, and behaviour of healthy and sick persons, as well as relations between the state of health and physical and social surroundings of the human being; adequate knowledge of clinical disciplines and practices.

The curriculum of the general medicine course in Pécs is designed to form a foundation upon which the future physician can build his or her medical knowledge in a continuously evolving profession. The program in OTM in General Medicine of instruction consists of six years of pre-clinical and clinical studies (ten semesters and one year of clinical rotations).

The Harvey Medicine and Surgery Course was founded on October 1st, 2009 by Professor Ermanno Gherardi, Head of the Department of Molecular Medicine. It is a six-year, single-cycle Master's Degree in Medicine and Surgery. The Harvey Course was thought “not just to teach the medical profession, but also to build a solid scientific basis for continued training that will be vital for the reception and understanding of future medicine”.

The single-cycle degree course in Medicine and Surgery is based on an educational project that aims to train a surgeon with the operational and relational skills to enable him or her to enter the world of healthcare today effectively.

The mission of the single-cycle Master's Degree Course in Medicine and Surgery is identified with the training of a doctor at an initial professional level with a biomedical-psychosocial culture, who possesses a multidisciplinary and integrated vision of the most common problems of health and disease. The education of the graduate must be oriented towards the community, the territory, and fundamentally towards the prevention of disease as well as towards health promotion, and with a humanistic culture in its medical aspects. This specific mission responds in a more adequate way to the new needs of care and health, as it is centered not only on the disease but above all on the sick person, considered as a whole of soma and psyche and inserted in the social context. The medical training thus oriented is also seen as the first segment of an education that must last over time, and in this perspective the knowledge that the student must acquire in this phase has been calibrated, giving due importance to self-learning, to experiences. not only in hospitals but also in local health facilities, epidemiology, for the development of clinical reasoning and the culture of prevention. The Medical School of the University of Parma has now decided to develop this European and international vocation opening a novel Medicine & Surgery course, entirely held in English, in the nearby city of Piacenza, which offers a hospital system that is not shared with other medical courses but will be uniquely dedicated to the new medical degree.

The 6-year curriculum leads to the Master degree MUDr. - "Medicinae Universae Doctor" = Doctor of General Medicine. To the effect of the second sentence of Article 3 Subsection 1 of the Code of Admissions Procedure for applicants for studies at Charles University, this is a study program without specialization.

Student will start to study Medicine in Cyprus Health Social Sciences University, after completing 3 years in Cyprus, they will transfer to University of Gazi in Ankara and they will graduate from there.
