Introduction

The global genomics market is projected to reach $35.7 billion by 2024—up from $18.9 billion in 2019. There is no better time to pursue an education in this rapidly growing field than now. The USciences Online MS in Genomics program will teach you the advanced genetics and genome-based research and leadership skills needed to leverage your knowledge and skills for improved disease research and patient care. And you’ll learn from expert faculty in rigorous courses that address real-world challenges and strategies to improve diagnostics and create better decision-making tools for healthcare providers and their patients.

Throughout the 12-course program, you’ll gain a critical understanding of genomics and genetics and their applications in healthcare and the health sciences for use in the pharmacy, medicine, nursing, social work, ethics, legal, and computer science fields. You’ll also examine the role genomics plays in the study of public health and population and human disease. The program is composed of eight-week courses covering topics spanning ethics to research to clinical applications, and is taught by faculty who are experts in the field.
