Students who have possession of an official Spanish university degree or another issued by a higher education institution of the European Higher Education Area that empowers in the country issuing the degree for access to Master's degrees.

Objectives
The general objective is the comprehensive training of the student in the field of gender and health.
To do this, they will acquire a solid knowledge of the conceptual bases of the discipline, as well as existing techniques. This will allow you to achieve two specific objectives:
- Be able to develop and evaluate research projects in the field of health and gender
- Being able to propose and develop research in the field of health and gender that represents an advance in scientific knowledge.
Competences
General competences
- Acquisition by the student of advanced training, specialized and multidisciplinary, aimed at specialization in the field of health and gender.
- Promote initiation in research tasks, through the knowledge and application of quantitative and qualitative techniques for the analysis of statistical data.
- Be able to carry out independent research and interpret results at an advanced level.
- Show originality in carrying out a job within the discipline of specialization.
- Identify the relevant information sources and their contents.
- Mastering the technical and computer tools necessary to be able to do an applied study.
- Apply deductive and inductive reasoning to the analysis and description of reality with respect to gender and health.
Specific competences
- Students will be able to demonstrate a systematic understanding of the field of Gender and Health, applying the different research designs developed in the master (quantitative and qualitative designs)
- Students will be able to conceive, design, implement, and adopt a research project with scientific and academic rigor in the field of Gender and Health.
- That student is able to make a contribution through: a) original research that expands frontiers of knowledge developing a substantial corpus on Gender and health, part of which deserves the publication referenced at a national or international level, and/or) an original research project (not previously submitted) to a national and international call for research on Gender and Health.
- That students are able to carry out a critical analysis, evaluation, and synthesis of new and complex ideas within the field of Gender and Health.
- Acquire knowledge of the legislative implications at the local and national level that may have an impact on Gender and Health.
- Acquire knowledge about ethical and bioethical principles in the field of Gender and Health, at a clinical and research level.
- Acquire knowledge about national and international regulations on Deontology, data protection, and on healthcare and research ethics committees
- Knowledge of the physiological bases of the reproductive process of women.
- Knowledge of the physiological bases of tumor processes in women with oncological pathology.
- Know and apply the methods of human reproduction in women in the presence of health and disease, knowing the indications and contraindications, adapting actions to quality standards, scientific evidence and critical reasoning, reviewing and adjusting treatments.
- Know and apply the own methods of oncological gynecology in women, in their different evolutionary stages, knowing the indications and contraindications, adapting the actions to quality standards, scientific evidence, and critical reasoning, reviewing and adjusting the treatments.
Admission
The requirements for access to the proposed degree are according to article 16, Royal Decree 1393/2007, modified by Royal Decree 861/2010, of July 2:
- To access the official Master's degrees, it will be necessary to hold an official Spanish university degree or another issued by a higher education institution belonging to another State that is part of the European Higher Education Area that empowers there to access teachings of Master.
- Likewise, graduates in accordance with educational systems outside the European Higher Education Area will be able to access without having their qualifications approved, after verification by the University that they accredit a level of training equivalent to the corresponding official Spanish university degrees and empower in the country issuing the degree for access to postgraduate education. Access by this means will not imply, in any case, the homologation of the previous degree that the interested party is in possession, nor its recognition for other purposes than that of taking the Master's degrees.

Aspiring selection:
It is carried out by the body responsible for the program. The selection of applicants will be through the presentation of a standardized curriculum with the specific profile required. For the selection, criteria of academic training, teaching experience, research experience, professional experience, and other merits will be met.
These criteria will be weighted, counting the total score of the scale for admission.
Offer of places: 30 places. If the minimum number of students foreseen is not reached in a course, the University may choose not to open the teaching group.
