Introduction
A Program for Future Anesthesiologist Assistants
With Nova Southeastern University’s Dual Admission program, you can earn your bachelor's and your Master of Science in Anesthesia (M.S.) degree in six years and three months. This program will prepare you for a rewarding career as a highly trained anesthesiologist assistant.
Graduates of NSU’s anesthesia master’s program are highly sought-after by top health systems because of their experience and training. Hands-on learning starts early: You’ll practice in our state-of-the-art mock operating room with an anesthesia simulator before you begin your hospital-based clinical rotations.
Our close-knit community within the program will help support you, and the low student-to-faculty ratio will help you build close connections with professors who are experts in their fields. That’s the NSU Edge in action.
Program overview
The Dual Admission Anesthesia program can be completed in a total of six years and three months (4+27). Students finish a four-year undergraduate major and are awarded a bachelor’s degree before starting the anesthesia program.
