College of Nursing and Advanced Health Professions (formerly Dallas Nursing Institute, DNI)
Introduction
At the College of Nursing and Advanced Health Professions (formerly Dallas Nursing Institute, DNI) we know that health care doesn’t begin and end with a visit to the doctor. We’ve developed vocational, undergraduate, and graduate-level academic programs that reflect the encompassing various aspects of health care—nursing, hospital administration, policy development, and mental health services. These advanced health programs prepare students to work in today’s modern and integrated health care environment, improve patient outcomes, enhance administrative functions, and advance effective public policies, practices, and systems in health care.
While many of our programs are based just north of Dallas where they can support our local community in Richardson, Texas, we also offer programs online in a variety of focuses. Under the guidance of distinguished faculty, our immersive and interprofessional approach to health care education prepares our graduates to enter the field ready to impact individual lives and shape the future of health care. Furthermore, our engaged-professional model of education and an extensive network of professional partnerships provide our students with hands-on training and networking opportunities as they seek to begin or advance their health care careers.
