Introduction
A career dedicated to improving the lives of clients and the community.
The Berkeley College Health Sciences programs are a great way to enter the in-demand healthcare field. You’ll have the option of choosing a certificate program in Patient Care Technician or Surgical Processing Technician or opting for the Associate’s degree program in Health Sciences. Many students complete one of the certificate programs and then continue on toward a degree to broaden their career options and increase their earning potential.
Associate’s degree graduates may have the opportunity to continue on and apply their credits to even more advanced studies in healthcare and additional career paths.
The Health Sciences Associate's degree program prepares students to meet the challenges of today’s complex healthcare environment through a combination of concentration-specific and general coursework. Students are able to select either a Patient Care Technician or Surgical Processing Technician concentration, based on their individual interests and career goals.
