Introduction
The aim of Nursing Programs is to train a nurse with knowledge, skills and attitudes that will provide comprehensive nursing care in the protection, development, treatment and rehabilitation of the health of the individual, family and society in line with the basic information about health sciences and the health needs of the society.
The nurses who graduated at the end of nursing education; to have a sufficient understanding of the structure, physiological functions and behavior of the healthy and sick individual, and the relationship between health and the physical and social environment, and to have sufficient knowledge of the sciences on which general nursing is based; It is aimed that they have sufficient information about the basic structure, principles, professional ethics and basic principles of health.
Nurses have eight branches of science (Nursing Fundamentals, Internal Diseases, Surgery, Women’s health and childbirth, Child health, Psychiatry and Public health nursing) and near-face specialties (intensive care, oncology, emergency, wound, stoma, incontinence, diabetes etc.) They undertake important duties in all health care centers and can continue their postgraduate education in the relevant departments determined.
The need for specialist nurses is very high in specialized hospitals, which are increasing in number every day.
