Introduction
This program aims to train competent public health professionals, public health leaders with strategic, analytical, and systems thinking and assessment skills who can demonstrate the ability to develop and effectively manage health care policies.
Learning outcomes:
Know the methods of assessing the health of the population and its groups to identify public health problems;
Be able to justify public health priorities, set goals and objectives, organize data collection, analyze, interpret and disseminate them;
Able to assess the impact of the environment on the health of society and individual groups in the community, with a proposal for a way to manage it;
To be able to organize events for the protection of public health, with their subsequent assessment;
Prepare a health policy, organize its implementation and evaluation;
Prepare preventive programs, manage their implementation, and be able to assess their effectiveness;
Organize cooperation with healthcare professionals and specialists in other fields, be able to work in an interdisciplinary team;
Communicate evidence-based information, ideas, problems, and solutions to health promotion and education in public health.
Able to critically assess and use modern pedagogical strategies based on educational theory and evidence-based teaching methods;
Can define and explain the philosophy of public health/health care as a science, is able to analyze it as a profession critically, describes scientific phenomena in public health;
Fluent in a foreign language, effectively uses various information and communication technologies in professional activities, taking into account information security.
