The mission of the Postgraduate Program "Cell and Gene Therapies" is to provide excellent postgraduate-level education and specialization to scientists. The aim is to enable them to adopt and respond to new challenges presented by technological advancements in medical science. This involves a focus on personalized medicine and the integration of automation technology in cell and gene therapies, which are rapidly expanding worldwide.

The program promotes excellence and educates students on the significant issues in Medical Genetics. The challenging curricula includes mandatory taught courses which cover the main aspects of Medical Genetics and a number of elective courses enabling students to broaden their knowledge on other fields of Medical Genetics. The MSc Research or Library Projects on various aspects of Medical Genetics are conducted in the state-of-the-art Departments and Clinics of the Cyprus Institute of Neurology and Genetics (CING).

The Master in Genomics and Genetics aims to satisfy the demand for university training, within the SUG, in theoretical and experimental biology, veterinary medicine, food technology, pharmacy, forestry-agriculture and the environment, which represents an opportunity for / the students who require more training in frontiers of knowledge and technology in the life sciences in the Autonomous Community of Galicia.

The Doctoral Program in Pathology and Molecular Genetics (PDPGM) offers advanced training in pathology and molecular genetics. Targeted at young graduates or those with a master's in life and health sciences, it focuses on basic and translational research, as well as molecular diagnostics in biopathology. The graduate masters the basic methodology of molecular biology and genetics, gene engineering, population genetics, and microscopy, which is able to practice, apply and interpret in research, clinical practice, or education. The graduate has a general overview of the basic statistical methods used in the evaluation of the results. The graduate demonstrated the ability of independent, creative, and team scientific work, can process and interpret the results, and is able to present these results at the scientific forum in Czech and English. The graduate is fully acquainted with the rules of ethics of scientific work, rules, and ethics associated with the interpretation of results, handling of patients' data, and work with genetically modified organisms (GMO), principles of animal protection against cruelty, and working in harmony with them.

The Master´s course in Microbiology aims to provide students with advanced skills in fundamental and applied microbiology. This is an area in which knowledge is rapidly expanding, incorporating high technological innovation and integrating several areas of the biology, such as genetics, molecular biology and immunology, among others. MSc Molecular Biology & Human Genetics is a specialization program aimed at providing excellent opportunities for the students to take off in a promising career in the field of medical research and diagnostics.

The Ph.D. degree in Biological Sciences Cell Biology and Molecular Genetics is an individualized program of study and research that prepares students for career opportunities in teaching and research in academic, governmental and industrial settings. A core series of courses sets a rigorous foundation in theory, experimental design and technical knowledge of contemporary investigations at the cellular level of organization. Areas of research include developmental biology, cellular and developmental neuroscience, immunology, reproductive biology, cellular endocrinology and molecular genetics.
