goals

• Provide the student with an understanding of the addictive process from a multidisciplinary perspective.
• To train future professionals who carry out their activity both in the field of assistance to drug addicts and in research in psychopharmacology and drugs.
• Provide the most up-to-date knowledge in the area, which enables safe and efficient management of psychotropic drugs in the clinical practice of mental health professionals.
• Provide a logical treatment strategy based on continuous scientific advances, integrated with other therapeutic modalities and verified with clinical trials and daily practice.
• Understand the terms of the study of behavior from Psychobiology, as well as the techniques and methods that characterize the planning of how behavior is processed by the nervous system.
• Provide the student with the greatest burden of the terminology on which his scientific and technical expression is based, thus allowing him to understand the terminology of the Health Sciences.

This University Master's Degree is designed for students from degrees (Degrees or Bachelor's degrees) in the biopsychosanitary field (Psychology, Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing, Biology) or psychosocial (Occupational Therapy, Social Education, Social Work) who want to specialize in Psychopharmacology and / or in Drug dependencies.

  • Title of educational systems outside the EHEA that empowers in the country of issuance for access to Master's education, homologated or declared equivalent to the degree and academic level of Degree or Degree by the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training .
