    Why studyPulmonology?
Pulmonology deals with diseases that can be extremely debilitating and even deadly, by understanding how these diseases work, pulmonologists can develop better treatments and ultimately save lives. Pulmonary conditions are becoming increasingly common due to air pollution and smoking, so there is a growing need for pulmonologists.

    Differenty types of Pulmonology degrees

After completing a residency, some pulmonologists may choose to subspecialize in a particular area of the field, such as critical care pulmonology or interventional pulmonology. Alternatively, students can earn a master's degree or doctorate in pulmonary science or another related field. These programs typically take two to four years to complete.

What will I study during my Pulmonology degree?
The curriculum for a Pulmonology degree will vary depending on the particular program you choose. You can expect to study topics such as lung anatomy and physiology, pathophysiology of pulmonary diseases, diagnostic testing and procedures, and treatment options.
